Why do you do Pilates? Growing up as a dancer, Pilates comes naturally to me yet continues to challenge me at the same time. It makes me feel strong, balanced, and tall. I love how it works from the inside out and moves in all different directions to keep my body moving in a variety of ways. The mental aspect and emphasis on breathing helps me to clear my mind and focus on the movement and overall benefits. Pilates provides the foundation for all the other workouts and activities I enjoy.

What makes your class yours/ how do you hope to make people feel? I hope to make people feel balanced and continuously challenged. My class is focused on working the entire body while also giving it much deserved love through stretching and lengthening. I practice contemporary Pilates elements but try to find different ways to change it up with various accessories and modifications. I want my clients to have fun and make the hour theirs to relax, work hard, breathe, and create positive mind + body results.
